Prayer and WorshiP

Squirrels and Red Kites retreat day at St Cassian's Centre, Kintbury, Oct 2025
Prayer, Reflection, Problem Solving, Games, Archery and Climbing Wall and a very nice lunch and dinner!
We all enjoyed praying together, deepening friendships, learning more about ourselves and playing together- as in our Mission Statement.

In September we had a wonderful, memorable Jubilee Pilgrimage of Hope walk, in the beautiful sunshine. We visited the four Catholic chapels/ churches in the village: St Augustine’s (Eyston Chapel), Champs Chapel (once a monastic chapel), St. Amand and St. John the Baptist Chapel in Hendred House and St. Mary’s. Children processed as pilgrims in their four House Groups. At each stop there was an activity and prayer time. We all thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful pilgrimage.

Fr Gabriel from Mark 10 Mission sent us a message. Thank you. Mark 10 is a wonderful prayer resource that we love and use regularly..
Candlemas: Feast of the Presentation of the Lord

During Covid times in 2020-2022, Fr Andrew celebrated many outdoor Masses so that we kept the Mass as the central part of our school life. From September 2021, we resumed weekly Mass in St Mary's.
