St Amand's Catholic Primary School
The Governors are looking to recruit a teaching assistant from September 2024.
This will include midday supervisor duties. It is a temporary contract. Hours to be confirmed
Salary: Grade 4: £23 500 pro rata
We are looking for someone to join our dedicated, happy team who:
- · has experience of working with children who have SEND (preferable)
- has an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- has an understanding of children with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or who is willing to learn about children with SEND
- · has a patient, calm and encouraging manner with children
- is able to motivate a child in all aspects of their development
- · is able to build good relationships with all children
- · is enthusiastic and uses their own initiative
- · can work well in a team and be flexible
- · makes learning exciting, varied and purposeful
- · is articulate and has a good standard of Maths and English
- · has high expectations of attainment and behaviour from all pupils
- · wants to work with a forward thinking and motivated team
- · would be committed to our Catholic ethos and community
We are committed to safeguarding children. All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced check.
